Position Available: Direct Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate appropriate sales leads
  2. Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in NuLink territory
  3. Manage the sale cycle for the customer to close the sale and deliver a solution, including educating the customer on products such as DVR, HD, high-speed Internet, digital phone, and the NuLink billing process
  4. Complete the sales order, prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues as needed
  5. Must be knowledgeable of products, services and rates
  6. Maintain Sales Activity Log to reflect all sales activities on a weekly basis
  7. Maintain minimum sales quotas on a monthly basis
  8. May be required to follow up on delinquent accounts and remove equipment
  9. Attend and participate in sales meetings as established by management
  10. Work promotional events during day, evening and weekend times
  11. Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or the equivalent industry experience with at least 2 years of direct consumer selling experience
  2. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  3. Knowledge of consumer electronics, Internet/data-related products
  4. Candidates must successfully pass a background screening, including alcohol, drugs, motor vehicle report and previous employment verifications
  5. All candidates must have suitable transportation, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness while maintaining a strong customer service orientation
